EkoStrip E3000 Paint remover - 1 US Gallon

Description

Stewart Systems EkoStrip is a non-hazardous, water-soluble paint stripper. EkoStrip is very effective at removing some of the toughest coatings in the industry. It will easily remove polyurethane and acrylic coatings that other paint removal products find difficult. EkoStrip will not harm any metal substrates. It does not dissolve the coatings but releases the bond to the substrate, and the coatings come off in sheets.

EkoStrip can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayer. Its gel consistency adheres to vertical surfaces well. Once applied, EkoStrip can be covered with light-weight plastic to prevent evaporation if more time is required for stubborn coatings. Ambient temperature has a very significant effect on EkoStrip. Higher ambient temperatures will increase the effectiveness exponentially with 90°F being optimal. Once EkoStrip has reacted with the coatings, removal with a hot power washer is ideal. EkoStrip is environmentally friendly and can be washed down the drain, but the coatings should be captured and disposed of in solid waste.

EkoStrip should never be used on fiberglass or composite substrates and may damage some types of plastic. EkoStrip tends to not be very effective on some types of primers such as zinc chromate.
