Model 71055 Series beacons are FAA TSO'd self-contained LED anti-collision lights. They are designed to replace existing quartz halogen flasher beacons installed as original equipment on single engine Cessna's from 1967 and later (contact factory for details).
This new self-contained (no external power supply) LED beacon is designed to replace the quartz halogen flashers on single engine Cessna's 1967 & later, and Aero Commanders. That's well over 30,000 aircraft! Its size (2.5" dia. x 3" high) also permits replacing remote mounted strobe lights & power supplies on many different fixed wing platforms as well as some rotorcraft. They can also replace remote mounted strobe lights (ref. Whelen A470 series) allowing for removal of the strobe power supply. Internal mounting plate provided with choice of mounting holes to retrofit most existing mounting patterns. STC SA615EA approved.
