Magneto manufactured by Continental Aerospace Technologies for Bendix ignition systems. This S6LSC-200 direct-drive magneto is a self-contained engine ignition unit designed to generate and distribute high-voltage electrical current to the spark plugs without requiring aircraft electrical power during normal operation. It is manufactured to OEM specifications for dependable ignition performance, long service life, and compatibility with approved Continental piston aircraft engines.
Application: Continental (TCM/CMI) piston aircraft engines approved for the S6LSC-200 magneto configuration. Verify compatibility with the applicable engine and aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) before installation.
Function: Generates and distributes high-voltage ignition current to the engine spark plugs independently of the aircraft electrical system, ensuring reliable engine starting and operation.
