The T10X8 (10-1/2-A-TR-PH-SS) is a #10 stainless steel truss-head self-tapping sheet metal screw used in aircraft interior and light airframe applications. It is designed for fastening thin sheet metal, brackets, panels, and non-structural aircraft components where a larger, stronger screw is required compared to #6 or #8 sizes.

The truss head provides a wide bearing surface, helping distribute load and reduce pull-through in thin materials. The Type A self-tapping thread allows the screw to form its own mating thread in pre-drilled holes or softer metals.

Key features include:

#10 diameter sheet metal screw (larger duty than #6/#8)
Length: 1/2 inch (T10X8 specification)
Truss head design (wide, low-profile head)
Phillips drive
Type A self-tapping thread
Stainless steel construction (corrosion resistant)
Used in aircraft interior panels and light structural attachments
Suitable for thin aluminum sheet and bracket mounting
Provides higher holding strength than smaller gauge screws
Common in general aviation maintenance and OEM interior installations
