General technical data :
- Wheel in 2 halves
- Made of high strength aluminum, machined from billet
- Sulfuric anodizing
- Tubeless for safety (O-ring and rigid valve)
- Waterproof bearings → no repack (stainless steel available in option)
- Patented brake calipers, Aerotec© with stainless steel pistons
- Sintered metallic brake pads, bounded on a backplate (not riveted)
- Floating disc
- Steel or aluminum axles (see Axle tab)
- Tubeless tires (see Tire tab)
- Stainless steel bearings optional
Notes:
- Finish: the red anodizing is the standard color for all parts. Other colors are available for the wheels, with an addition charge and leadtime. The brake calipers always remain red.
- ATTENTION colors may vary from one wheel to another.
- Wheel cap optional
- The first types of 5" and 6"wheels were made of 3 flanges instead of two with 3 O'ring seals instead of 2 (2 between the flanges and 1 for the valve)
