MS35649-286B – Nut (Alt. to AN340-B8)

Aerospace castellated (slotted) nut designed for use with drilled bolts and safety-wire or cotter pin locking methods in aircraft structural and mechanical assemblies. This type of nut provides a positive mechanical lock when secured, ensuring the fastener remains in place under vibration, cyclic loading, and operational stresses. It is manufactured to military standard MS35649 and is interchangeable with legacy AN340-B8 applications.
