PPG – PR1791A – Fuel Tank Sealant – 300 ml Kit
Amine-cured Viton-based filleting sealant designed for aircraft fuel tank and wet wing sealing applications. Provides continuous service across a wide temperature range from -55°C to +230°C, with short-term resistance up to 315°C. Offers excellent resistance to aircraft fuels, lubricating oils, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Supplied as a thick uncured paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula, curing to a flexible elastomer with long-term durability.
Application: Aircraft fuel tanks, wet wing sealing, integral fuel systems, and sealing of fuel-exposed joints and seams
Function: Forms a fuel- and oil-resistant elastomeric seal to prevent leaks and maintain integrity under thermal and chemical exposure
