The 05-10645 Retroreflective Tape is a 24-inch wide optical reference tape used with the DynaVibe dynamic propeller balancing system. It provides a high-contrast reflective target for the system’s optical pickup sensor, enabling accurate RPM detection during propeller vibration analysis and balancing procedures.

The tape features a printed triangular reflective pattern, designed to maximize light return signal strength even under variable lighting conditions. When illuminated by the DynaVibe optical tach sensor, the reflective surface produces a stable pulse signal used to measure rotational speed and phase reference for vibration analysis.

It is typically applied to the propeller spinner or blade root area, ensuring consistent sensor alignment during ground run-ups. Only a small strip is required per installation, and it is generally removed after balancing to avoid long-term adhesive residue or corrosion risk on metal surfaces.
