Factory-overhauled aircraft magneto for Continental/Bendix S6LSC-series ignition systems. This unit is fully overhauled in accordance with FAA-approved maintenance data, including complete teardown, inspection, replacement of life-limited and worn components, reassembly, and functional testing to restore full operational performance. It provides independent, engine-driven high-voltage ignition for piston aircraft engines, ensuring reliable spark generation and distribution under all operating conditions.
Application: Continental (TCM/CMI) piston aircraft engines configured for S6LSC-series magnetos (commonly six-cylinder installations). Exact compatibility must be confirmed using the engine IPC.
Function: Generates and distributes high-voltage electrical energy to spark plugs in correct firing sequence, enabling combustion independent of the aircraft electrical system.
