The TY96 is a compact panel-mounted COM transceiver delivering 10 watts nominal transmit power while operating on 11–33V DC electrical systems. Designed as part of Trig’s slimline avionics series, the radio features a low-profile chassis only 33 mm high, making it ideal for retrofit installations where panel space is limited.

This radio includes advanced pilot-assist functions such as Dual Watch monitoring, “Say Again” audio playback, programmable frequency database storage, stereo intercom support, and USB frequency database upload capability.
